The American Heart Association printed these findings in a journal titled “Circulation: Heart Failure” back in February. This is a major discovery that can help people all over the world! So how can it help you? This article will break down everything you need to know from this study.

How does coffee affect blood pressure?

Previously, Caffeine and Coffee Drinking has been considered bad for your heart health by the general populace. People have associated the consumption of these products with increasing palpitations, high blood pressure, bad for pregnancies, dehydration, and growth stunts. The only reason people drink coffee is to help stimulate themselves throughout the day. This reasoning has lead people to believe that coffee is an addictive substance, too. No matter how many studies are done on this product, it has never shaken off any of these preconceived beliefs.

Coffee helps avoid heart failure, heart disease and stroke market?
Three institutes collected information in this study - The Farmingham Heart Study (FHS), the Atherosclerosis Risk in Communities (ARIC), and the Cardiovascular Health Study (CHS). All three institutes used supervised machine learning to identify potential variables when assessing a subject's risk of Stroke, Heart Failure, or Coronary Heart Disease. Between the three studies, more than 21,000 participants over the age of 50 were studied for irregularities in multiple factors of their life for ten years; this includes a study of their diet.

In all three studies, Coffee Drinking has been proven to Lower Risk of Heart Failure. The FHS and CHS studied showed that Coffee Drinking will Lower Risk of Heart Failure by 5% -12% per cup of coffee each day. The ARIC showed a positive change of 30% for people that had at least two cups of coffee a day.

But it is important to recognize that the coffee you are drinking needs to be caffeinated. CHS found no increase or decrease, but the FHS found an increase in heart failure potential from those that are drinking decaf.

Beyond the difference between caffeinated and decaf coffee, the study made no other distinction. Examples of other distinctions include - how the coffee is prepared, where the beans came from, how strong the coffee is. The study also did not address if you can decrease your chance of heart disease by drinking other caffeinated products such as energy drinks, caffeinated tea, and soda.

According to Dr. David Kao, the senior author of the printed study, they do not recommend increasing the amount of coffee circulation in your system. The reason - they have found no causality. While the studies have found that you can decrease your chances of getting heart disease from Coffee Drinking, they could not identify why this is the case.
